The Rotary Club of Lake Placid was chartered in 1994, one of 66 clubs in District 7040, which is made up of clubs in Nunavut, eastern Ontario, western Quebec, and northern New York.  Most of our club meetings feature an invited guest speaker and are intended to be fun and educational.  Our primary purpose however is to be a fellowship dedicated to community service and some of our meetings therefore encompass event planning and discussion.
