Residents of Lake Placid and surrounding communities are encouraged to contact our Membership Chairman, Gene Gengel membership for further information on membership in the Rotary Club, or to join us at our weekly meeting.

Our meetings are held on Thursday mornings, starting at 7:30 AM , at the Howard Johnson’s Restaurant in Lake Placid. Visiting Rotarians, guests, and prospective members are welcome to join us. To learn more about Rotary see..http://www.rotary.org/.

Randy Quayle, Scott Wilson & Hal Lennon were inducted in April 2008. Shown here with their Sponsors, Bob Hanna, Kyle Sorensen & Steve Detwiler. L to R Bob, Randy, Kyle, Scott, Steve, Hal.. Randy is recently retired from LP HS where he was the school Physiologist. Scott works for Westelcom as an information systems specialist. Hal moved here from Utica where he owned a Retail Jewelry store.

Kyle Sorensen & Mary Elizabeth Alexander were inducted in February 2008.They are flanked by their sponsors, Bill Stowe & Joe McAvoy. Kyle is the Edward Jones representative in Lake Placid and Mary Elizabeth is a semi retired Psychologist.
