Paul Wylie, silver medalist in figure skating at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, FR, gave a very engrossing "backstage" look at figure skating ant the road to the Olympics.  Paul talked about his background and the road which lead to his career in skating as well as afterwards his business achievements and now as Director of Sport for ORDA.  Most facinating was Paul's discussions of what it takes to be motivated to world competitive level, how technology has made training so different from 30 or 40 years ago and the deliberative process that goes into choosing music to accompany the performace.   Paul also had a PowerPoint covering the upcoming games in Bejing and alluded to some of the controversies which put additional pressures on our athletes.
